OVERLAND PARK, Kan.— Zurich Insurance Co. Ltd. has named Tina Mallie as president of programs and direct markets, the insurer announced Wednesday.
Ms. Mallie replaces Craig Fundum, who was named president of commercial markets and customer industry segments last week. He succeeded Vincent C. Tizzio after Mr. Tizzio took the position of president and CEO at Navigators Management Co. Inc., effective July 16.
Ms. Mallie reports to Mike Foley, CEO of Zurich North America Commercial. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Mallie was head of direct markets, Zurich said in a statement.
She is based in Overland Park, Kan.
In 2011, Ms. Mallie was named a Women to Watch honoree by Business Insurance.
