BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurer Navigators names chief risk officer

NEW YORK—Navigators Group Inc. has named Jennifer Yang as its new chief risk officer, the insurer announced.

In this newly created position, Ms. Yang is responsible for global enterprise risk management, New York-based Navigators said Monday in a statement. She reports to Ciro M. DeFalco, the company’s senior vp and chief financial officer.

Previously, Ms. Yang was vp in both global and regional capital management at Chartis Inc.

She is based Rye Brook, N.Y.
