Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Calgary, Canada-based BenefitLink Resource Group, Inc., Itasca, Ill..-based Gallagher announced Thursday.
BenefitLink Resource Group, Inc. is an employee benefits insurance broker and consultant that provides a full range of group employee benefits and pension products and services to their clients throughout Canada, said Gallagher in a statement announcing the move. “They also design, implement, communicate and help manage their clients' group insurance and retirement savings programs,” added Gallagher. “They specialize in the energy, energy service and transportation industries.”

Patrick Gallagher, Jr. Gallagher's chairman, president and CEO, in the statement.
