Risk Manager of the Year<sup>®</sup>, Risk Management Honor Roll<sup>®</sup> announced

CHICAGO—Business Insurance announced Friday that John J. Marren, director, global risk and insurance management at CSL Ltd., is the 2012 Risk Manager of the Year®.
CSL is a Melbourne, Australia-based global, specialty biopharmaceutical company. Its units include CSL Behring in King of Prussia, Pa., where Mr. Marren is based.
Business Insurance also named the 2012 Risk Management Honor Roll® members. They are: Grace Crickette, chief risk officer at the University of California in Oakland; Julie L. DeSantis, vp, risk management at Sony Corp. of America in New York; and John Pearce, general manager policy and risk at Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand.
All the honorees were selected by an independent panel of judges composed of former honorees and insurance industry executives.
The awards will be presented at the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc.'s Annual Conference and Exhibition, which will be held April 15-18 in Philadelphia.
