BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

NEW YORK—XL Group P.L.C. has named Jay Lefkowitz to the new post of head of U.S. risk management, the New York-based insurer announced Tuesday.

Previously, he was president of national accounts at ACE Risk Management, a unit of ACE Group Holdings Inc.

Mr. Lefkowitz will direct XL’s U.S. risk management team, which provides auto liability, general liability and workers compensation to U.S.-based businesses.

He is based in New York.
