ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Public Risk Management Assn. has named Marshall W. Davies executive director.
Previously, Mr. Davies held executive posts at the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, most recently as executive director, according to a Wednesday statement.
“The PRIMA board is thrilled to work with Marshall in his new capacity as executive director,” said PRIMA President Cindy Mallett, in the statement. “Marshall has a long relationship with PRIMA and its members and I'm sure it will continue to grow with his new position.”
Mr. Davies previously served PRIMA as deputy executive director in 1994 and filled in as interim executive director, where he assisted in developing the Alexandria, Va.-based association’s programs and services, according to the statement.
“This is a great opportunity,” said Mr. Davies. “I am looking forward to working with the board and staff to take PRIMA to the next level of service to its members and their profession.”
Mr. Davies’ appointment is effective immediately, PRIMA said.
