To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

JOPLIN, Mo.—To view the battered husk of St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo., is to know the terrifying and destructive power of the EF-5 tornado that struck the city on May 22.
Winds of more than 200 mph tore off the hospital’s roof, shattered nearly all of its windows and badly damaged much of the building’s interior. Five patients and one visitor to the hospital were among the 123 people in Joplin killed during the storm.

JOPLIN, Mo.—The huge tornado that devastated Joplin, Mo., could result in insured losses of $1 billion to $3 billion, catastrophe modeling firm EQECAT Inc. said Tuesday.
