BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

EDMONTON, Alberta—Tina Gardiner, manager of insurance and risk at the Regional Municipality of York, Ontario, has been awarded Canada’s highest honor in risk management, the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. said Monday.

Ms. Gardiner received the Donald M. Stuart Award from RIMS’ Ontario chapter at the this year’s RIMS Canada Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, on Monday. The award has been given annually since 1979 to acknowledge Canadians who have made outstanding contributions in the field of risk management, according to RIMS.

In her position with the Regional Municipality of York, Ms. Gardiner oversees all insurance and risk-related issues in a region that includes nine municipalities with a population of more than 1 million.
