ZURICH, Switzerland—ACE Ltd. said Thursday that John Keogh, who is chairman, insurance-Overseas General, has also been named vice chairman of ACE Ltd. and ACE Group Holdings.

His new responsibilities include overseeing ACE’s property and casualty and accident and health insurance operations outside of North America, which includes retail broker-distributed business in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Keogh joined Zurich-based ACE in 2006.
