CHICAGO—Elizabeth Francy Demaret has been named to the new post of managing director and multinational client service director for Marsh Inc., the insurance brokerage said Monday.

Ms. Demaret will move to New York from Chicago to oversee multinational specialist teams in more than 100 countries and streamline services for multinational clients, the New York-based unit of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. said in a statement.

Ms. Demaret, who previously was managing director of international services at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., reports to Marsh international division President Hank Allen.
