NEW YORK—Mike Roberts has been named president and executive managing director of Buck Consultants L.L.C., the top leadership position at the New York-based benefit consultant.

Mr. Roberts joined Buck in 2000 and most recently has been a managing director in the London office of Buck Consultants, it said Tuesday in a statement. Buck Consultants became a unit of Xerox Corp. in February with the purchase of Buck's parent, Affiliated Computer Services Inc.

Mr. Roberts, who will relocate to New York, succeeds Jan Grude, who left in April.
