TORONTO—Ironshore Canada said Wednesday that it is entering the financial and professional lines market in Canada and named Dane Hambrook as vp to lead the division.
Ironshore Canada’s financial and professional lines division will provide coverage for directors and officers liability; errors and omissions; employment practices; fiduciary; and fidelity insurance for public companies, financial institutions, private companies and nonprofits.
Mr. Hambrook will be based in Toronto. He most recently was Canadian regional underwriting manager for the public accounts division, executive liability, for American International Group Inc.
Bermuda-based parent Ironshore Inc. launched Ironshore Canada in January. It offers specialty insurance products that include marine and cargo, inland marine, high-value property, war and terrorism, and political risk.
