The 2010 Risk Manager of the Year® Awards Breakfast & Reception will be hosted in Boston on April 27, 2010.

The Risk Manager of the Year® and Risk Management Honor Roll® awards are among the highest honors for the risk management community. The Risk Manager of the Year® program was launched in 1978 and the Risk Management Honor Roll® was added in 1980. The awards were created to increase recognition of the risk management profession and to recognize outstanding individual accomplishment in the risk management field.

The annual awards program is scheduled to coincide with the annual conference of the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc., which collaborates with Business Insurance to present the awards. The awards breakfast is attended by current and former award winners, bringing together some of the most respected and accomplished risk managers to one event, to network with each other and to celebrate the newest honorees.

This year's breakfast will feature a keynote address by Patrick G. Ryan, chief executive officer of Ryan Specialty Group, in addition to recognition and award presentation to the 2010 honorees.
