NEW YORK—The Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc. said Monday that its 2013 conference and exhibition will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The April 21-25, 2013, event in Los Angeles will be the New York-based association's 51st annual conference, which attracts nearly 10,000 risk and insurance professionals from around the world for educational sessions, keynote presentations and special events.

This year's conference will be held April 25-29 in Boston. Next year's gathering will be held May 1-5, 2011, in Vancouver, British Columbia. RIMS 2012 is set for April 15-19, 2012, in Philadelphia.
