NEW YORK—Navigators Group Inc. said Monday that its principal underwriting agency subsidiary, Navigators Management Co. Inc., has expanded its professional liability offerings with an architects and engineers professional liability program.

Bill Farran, who previously was practice leader for the design professionals and real estate professionals divisions at Travelers Insurance Cos., has been hired to lead the Navigators architects and engineers professional liability group as vp.

As of Monday, the New York-based insurer said new business submissions for architects and engineers liability policies with effective dates on or after April 1 can be submitted directly to Navigators.
