HONG KONG—Aon Risk Services said Thursday that Sandeep Malik has been appointed chief executive officer of Asia Aon Risk Services, effective Feb. 1, 2010.
Aon Risk Services, the risk management and insurance brokerage arm of Chicago-based Aon Corp., said Mr. Malik was chosen for his “deep knowledge of the Asia markets” and management skills.
Mr. Malik, who will be based in Aon’s Hong Kong offices, previously was chief commercial officer at Prudential Corp. Asia. In 10 years with Prudential Asia, he was involved in several key initiatives including joint ventures in China and India.
