HARTFORD, Conn.—Christopher Lewis has been named senior vp of capital planning and chief risk officer of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.’s property/casualty operations, Hartford said Thursday.
In the newly established role as senior vp of capital planning, Mr. Lewis is responsible for capital planning and analysis across Hartford’s operations, including infrastructure and projections.
As chief risk officer for Hartford’s property/casualty operations, Mr. Lewis is responsible for enterprise risk management initiatives.
Prior to the promotion, Mr. Lewis was chief financial officer of the Hartford, Conn.-based insurer’s personal and small business insurance lines.
