CHICAGO--The 2009 Enterprise Risk Management Symposium drew more than 400 attendees to Chicago.

The April 29-May 1 symposium, held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, explored topics ranging from spotting emerging risks to developments in operational risk quantification.

The ERM event was presented by the Casualty Actuarial Society, the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, the Professional Risk Managers' International Assn. and the Society of Actuaries, with collaboration from the Asociacion Mexicana de Actuarios, the Colegio Nacional de Actuarios and the Enterprise Risk Management International Institute.
