PHILADELPHIAACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of Switzerland-based ACE Ltd., has made several executive appointments in its casualty risk, regional and Canadian operations.
David Brosnan, who most recently served as president of the ACE casualty risk division, was named chief executive officer of ACE Canada. In his new role, Mr. Brosnan will be responsible for ACE's property/casualty, accident and health and life insurance businesses in Canada.
In addition, Karen Barkley was named chief operations officer of ACE Canada and president of ACE Canada's property/casualty business. Ms. Barkley has held several roles with ACE Canada since she joined the company in 1992.
Chris Maleno, previously president of Philadelphia-based ACE USA regional operations, is now president of ACE casualty risk. In his new role, Mr. Maleno will be responsible for business planning for lead umbrella and excess liability, custom casualty, public entity, construction, workers compensation and environmental liability products.
Joseph Clabby, previously president of ACE USA West, succeeds Mr. Maleno as president of ACE USA regional operations.
