BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

ACE Tempest Reinsurance, a unit of Bermuda-based ACE Ltd., has opened an underwriting office in Dublin, Ireland. ACE Tempest Re also named Tony Spice as chief underwriting officer, with responsibility for developing property/casualty treaty business in continental Europe....Standard & Poor's Corp. has affirmed its AAA financial strength rating of Munich Reinsurance Co., which had been under review. S&P cited Munich Re's strong capitalization, despite the reinsurer's 2 billion euro ($1.96 billion) addition to the reserves of its U.S. units. The rating of Munich Re subsidiary American Re-Insurance Co. remains under review, with negative implications....A.M. Best Co. has assigned an A- financial strength rating to St. Louis-based Vanliner Insurance Co. Vanliner writes coverages mainly for the moving industry, including automobile liability, workers compensation, commercial umbrella liability and warehouse/cargo.
