Regulator allows Willis to acquire 100% stake in Indian subsidiary

Indian regulators have approved U.K.-based insurance broker Willis Towers Watson PLC plan to take a 100% stake in its Indian subsidiary, Willis Towers Watson India Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd., Business Line reported. The approval will allow WTW, which already holds 49% stake in its Indian subsidiary, to buy the remaining 51% stake from Anemone Holdings Pvt. Ltd.
