Risk managers: Climate change will make certain risks uninsurable

A report by French insurer Axa SA said that 60% of risk managers fear the impacts of climate change will make certain geographies or activities uninsurable in the future, Reinsurance News reported. The report found that more than 50% of risk managers consider they have poor visibility of the climate risks threatening their value chain, with more than 40% of risk managers saying that their companies lack a climate risk governance mechanism.
