A report by the International Union of Marine Insurance said that hull and cargo premiums written grew nearly 6% in 2020 and reached $7.1 billion, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported. But recovery in shipping activities to pre-pandemic levels and increased natural catastrophe events are likely to affect underwriting performance this year.
