BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Reinsurer results expected to come under pressure: Aon

Mike van Slooten, head of business intelligence for Aon PLC’s Reinsurance Solutions division, has warned that reinsurer results will come under pressure through the second half of 2021, Reinsurance News reported. The European floods and Hurricane Ida will result in significant losses for reinsurers and, with annual catastrophe budgets already largely exhausted, it is again questionable whether the sector will cover its cost of capital in 2021.
