Dual buys Mexican MGA; opens new office in Brazil

U.K.-based brokerage Howden Group Holdings Ltd.’s underwriting arm Dual Corporate Risks Ltd. has acquired Mexico-based reinsurance managing general agent Dock Re, which focuses on property, casualty, and financial lines and is also a coverholder at Lloyd’s of London, Reinsurance News reported. Dual has also opened a new office in Sao Paulo, thus expanding its footprint in the Latin American market.
