According to Aon Securities, more insurance-linked securities capital is expected to be reallocated to catastrophe bonds from other ILS instruments like collateralized reinsurance and retrocession, Artemis reported. Some unexpected losses and uncertainty around private ILS and collateralized reinsurance are driving the reallocation of capital towards the more liquid, predictable and transparent cat bonds.
