Employers can claim a tax credit for the cost of providing paid leave to employees to accompany a family or household member to obtain a COVID-19 immunization, or to provide care during recovery from immunization, according to new Internal Revenue Service guidance, BenefitsLink reports. The IRS guidance is part of updates to frequently asked questions about tax issues arising under the American Rescue Plan Act.
