Industry trade association Live Performance Australia predicts that the organizers of Bluesfest will lose $10 million Australian ($7.6 million) after being forced to cancel their live music festival due to a COVID-19 positive case, The Sydney Morning Herald reported. The sudden event cancelation has renewed calls for a government-backed insurance cover for the live events industry.
