BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Sri Lanka insurer’s gross written premium up 17%

Insurer Sri Lanka Insurance Corp.’s gross written premium grew by 17% in 2020 with general insurance contributing 51% of the total premiums, The Island reported. The insurer’s revenues increased 14% year-on-year to 55.2 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($285 million). General insurance saw a 7% growth in premium.
