The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority has approved several insurance policies that cover cancellation of live events, as part of its efforts to develop the local insurance market, Middle East Insurance Review reported. The policies will protect against the risks of canceling, postponing, suspending, relocating or not completing the events, for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, such as weather conditions.
