Chinese court bans sale of some iPhones over Qualcomm patents dispute

U.S.-based chipmaker Qualcomm Inc. said that the Fuzhou Intermediate People's Court in China has banned the sale and import of some of Apple Inc.'s phones over a patents-related dispute, ABC7News.com reported. Qualcomm said that the court ordered four Apple's subsidiaries to stop selling iPhones from models 6S to X. The dispute is over two Qualcomm patents that allow consumers to format photos and manage phone apps using a touch screen.
