BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Catastrophe models drive ILS market growth: JLT Re

A report by U.K.-based JLT Reinsurance Brokers Ltd. found that the development of sophisticated catastrophe risk models has driven growth of the insurance-linked securities market, Artemis.bm reported. JLT Re said that the catastrophe models have made it easier for the ILS market players to understand and visualize risk exposures and identify insurance and reinsurance linked investment opportunities.
