BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Automotive sector hit by supply-chain disruptions: JLT Specialty

Research by U.K.-based insurance broker JLT Specialty Ltd. found that supply-chain disruptions in the automotive industry increased more than 30% year over year to nearly 1,700 incidents in 2017, Automotive Logistics reported. The research found that factory fires and explosions, hurricanes, mergers and acquisitions and labor strikes were the main causes for supply-chain disruptions. The disruptions affected more than 5,500 suppliers at nearly 11,000 sites across the world, the research added.
