BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

JLT appoints CEO for specialty unit

U.K.-based insurance broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C. has appointed Lucy Clarke to the newly created role of chief executive of its unit JLT Specialty Ltd., Reuters reported. Ms. Clarke's responsibilities cover all of Jardine Lloyd Thompson's business activities except reinsurance broking and employee benefits. Ms. Clarke will take up the new role from April and report to Dominic Burke, chief executive of JLT.
