Southeast Asian firms most vulnerable to cyber attacks: Kaspersky LabReprints
A report by Russia-based cyber security firm Kaspersky Lab Z.A.O. found that Southeast Asian firms are among the most vulnerable in the world to cyber attacks which could cost the firms millions of dollars in lost business, Inquirer.net reported. Manufacturing companies were most susceptible, accounting for one third of all cyber attacks, the report found. "The reason for the high statistics for this type of infection lies in unrestricted access and connection of industrial networks to the internet, which threatens the entire industrial infrastructure," the security firm said.
