Losses from cyclone Doris to reach nearly $300 million: PERILSReprints
Switzerland-based catastrophe insurance market data provider PERILS A.G. has said that February’s cyclone Doris caused an estimated €249 million ($293 million) of insurance and reinsurance losses, Artemis.bm reports. PERILS said that the loss amount has not changed since its earlier prediction in May. “While there are notable changes in loss amounts on a country-by-country basis, the overall event-loss figure has remained the same,” PERILS added. The cyclone struck the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
