Reinsurance rate to keep falling as capacity abundant: S&P

A report by U.S.-based S&P Global Ratings Inc. found that reinsurers are likely to experience another year of declining reinsurance rates, Artemis.bm reports. Trends point to an ongoing softening of pricing in the global reinsurance market, the report said. S&P cited the abundance of capacity and relatively low loss experience for the state of the market, as pressure on the traditional business model remain.
