Many firms affected by mass cyber attack likely don’t have cyber coverage

Insurers have said that companies outside the United States may not have cover for the recent ransomware attack that affected hospitals, car factories and shops across the world, Reuters reported. , The attacks have left many of the affected entities with potentially with millions of dollars of losses due to limited uptake of cyber insurance. The overall cost of getting businesses started again could run into the billions of dollars, with companies in Europe, including Russia, and Asia particularly vulnerable.
