To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Sompo Holdings completes takeover of Endurance Specialty

Japanese insurer Sompo Holdings Inc. has completed the takeover of Bermuda-based insurer Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. in a deal worth $6.3 billion, The Royal Gazette reported. Endurance will be integrated into Sompo Holdings through the creation of Sompo International, which will be based in Bermuda. Sompo International will be led by John Charman as chairman and CEO, who will report to Kengo Sakurada, president and CEO of Sompo Holdings.
