BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bermuda reinsurer reports underwriting, investment profits in third quarter

Bermuda-based Watford Re Ltd. has reported an underwriting profit of $1.38 million, up from $1.3 million in the third quarter of 2015, Artemis.bm reports. Net investment income amounted to $27 million, while pre-tax income totaled $56.5 million. Gross underwritten premiums amounted to $163.7 million, up from $131.2 million in the year-ago quarter.
