Generali targets Asia growthReprints
Italian insurer Generali Group is looking to strengthen its presence in Asia, with a particular focus on Thailand, reported The Nation.
Generali Group aims to be in the top five of all markets where it has a footprint in three to five years. The group is also targeting 10% of its revenue to come from Asia. Korakrit Khumruangrit, chief executive of Generali Insurance (Thailand) Co. Ltd., said that the group is ready to provide huge capital to its Thai unit as part of a plan to boost it into the top 10 in three years.
