A survey by London-based Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. revealed that the Asian market is likely to be a center of merger and acquisitions activity in the coming three years, Asia Insurance Review reports.
More than 50% of the survey's respondents expect Asia to experience the maximum rise in M&A activity.
An official said that M&A deals could be outbound as well as inbound.
Globally, 90% of insurers in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, emerging Asia and Central and Eastern Europe are planning deals in the next three years, said the survey.
