To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Natural catastrophes cost insurers more than $2 billion over two years

Natural catastrophes in India caused almost 150 billion Indian rupees ($2.2 billion) in insured losses in 2014 and 2015, reports Asia Insurance Review citing Business Standard.

The recent floods in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are estimated to have caused losses of INR 50 billion. Flash floods in Uttarakhand in 2014 caused insured losses of nearly INR 30 billion to INR 35 billion, while cyclone HudHud in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh led to losses of around INR 40 billion.
