U.K.-based TT Club Mutual Insurance Ltd. said that the recent explosions in the Chinese port of Tianjin has highlighted the potentially devastating effect that goods that are not properly packed, marked or declared can have on the supply chain, reported Asia Insurance Review.

"Concerns over mis-declaration of cargo are still plaguing the shipping industry, both in relation to actual incidents and also cargo management screening processes," a TT Club official said in a report.
