Alternative reinsurance capital hits $68 billion in H1: Aon Benfield

Aon Benfield said that alternative reinsurance capital grew by 6% year on year to $68 billion in the first half of 2015, outpacing total reinsurance capital growth, reported Artemis.bm.

The volume of traditional reinsurance capital decreased 3% in the first half.

Aon Benfield said that the volume of global reinsurance capital decreased 2% during the period in spite of the 6% growth in alternative reinsurance capital, reports Artemis.bm.
