"Multiple centers of insurance" to sprout: Lloyd's CEO

Lloyd's of London chief executive Inga Beale told Middle East Insurance Review that "the globe is getting smaller" and "there are going to be multiple centers of insurance," reported Asia Insurance Review.
Ms. Beale said that London's position as a leading insurance and reinsurance market is being altered as satellite insurance hubs grow in other parts of the world. "We want to increase market access for Lloyd's," said Ms. Beale, adding that Lloyd's is looking to increase its presence in Africa in 2015.
