To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Panamanian insurance sector grows in Q1

The insurance sector in Panama registered growth in nearly all segments in the first quarter of 2015, reported BNamericas.

The sector's premium volume increased 4.6% year-on-year to $337 million in the first quarter.

But the country's insurance sector still expanded more slowly than that of several other Latin American nations.

Several nations in the region have registered growth rates above 10%. Uruguay and Brazil's insurance industry grew 13.5% and 22.4%, respectively, in the first quarter.
