BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Trust Re's gross written premiums up 14%

Bahrain-based Trust International Insurance & Reinsurance Co. B.S.C.'s gross written premium increased 14% year on year to $452.6 million in 2014, reports Asia Insurance Review.

The reinsurer's profits decreased 14.4% year on year to $15.4 million for the period. An increase in the frequency of large claims from the Asian region was one of the factors affecting the reinsurer's profits. Trust Re's total investments and financial income amounted to $14.1 million, up from $7.4 million in 2013.
