BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Colombian captive insurers target Bermuda

Colombian firms are considering Bermuda to as a captive domicile, reported The Royal Gazette.

"For Latin American captives, Bermuda continues to be the dominant domicile because of its tradition, experience and regulation," said Maria Escobar, head of captive solutions for Latin America at Marsh L.L.C. Bermuda had made "an important effort" to sign tax information exchange agreements with relevant nations such as Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, added Ms. Escobar.
