Former Aon Risk Solutions exec Peter Arkley joins Alliant

LOS ANGELES—Peter Arkley, formerly CEO of Chicago-based Aon Corp.'s Aon Risk Solutions unit's construction services group, has joined Alliant Insurance Services Inc.'s construction services group, Newport Beach, Calif.-based Alliant said.

Mr. Arkley will serve as senior executive vp and managing director of the unit.

Mr. Arkley and Richard Ferrucci, who joined Alliant in December when the company acquired T&H Group Inc. and its construction and surety operation, RFF & Associates, “will work together to build a world-class construction services operation,” Alliant in a statement Wednesday announcing the hire.

Mr. Arkley will be based in Alliant's Los Angeles office.

Kevin White, president and chief operating officer of Aon's construction services group, succeeded Mr. Arkley as CEO of the group this week.
